Anyways, I recently had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Terri, who keeps a fantastic Vancouver based fashion blog called The Conveyor Belt, which I will be watching with interest as she posts on Vancouver Fashion Week (on now). She also recently launched a knitwear line called Larry - gorgeous, soft pieces like the one above, knit with locally produced fibers. If you're in Van, you can find her at Portobello West.

A couple of my fellow Canadian wardrobe_remixer's eyeliah and doozywhoop keep pretty awesome blogs too. Hailey (aka eyeliah), shows off her superb and classy personal style at Style Symmetry. That's her above this paragraph - love the ANTM pose! Doozy's thought provoking fashion blog is Aesthetique, and she is a Queen of the cute pose. See:
I've also been enjoying The Vancouverista. When I first came across her blog I was just jealous that I hadn't come up with that name first, but I got over that and got into her rock and roll sensibilities.

And this probably goes without saying, but The Commodified, a Vancouver street style blog, is also a favorite to scan. A couple recent cool snaps:

You can find links to all of these blogs in the Canadian Inspiration section of my blogroll. This is the 'local edition' but I'm looking for more Canada-wide, so if you're out there, tell me.

Hey! Thanks for the shout out! :-)
I really adore your style and am very honoured (Canadian spelling!) to be mentioned on your site.
mine isn't exactly a stylle blog, but i do make and want stuff.
good work.

Sarah, you are right, but I don't mean to define all of these blogs as personal style blogs. I define my style by the things I want and make just as much as what I wear. ;) And in your case, the things you want and make are influencing both your style and that of others who read your blog. Ah, definitions of style - I could go on and on...
My favorite Canadian fashion related blog...

I didn't know about this Portobello West thing! I must go to the April one!
Wow! Thanks for mentioning me! I really appreciate it! It's awesome to see so many Vancouverites pushing the envelope in their style. It's about time!
